A career produces an archive. Contracts, board minutes, correspondence, drawings, invoices, the one file that settled the argument in 2014. Twenty years in, the count runs to tens of thousands of documents. Nobody reads them. Reading was always the expensive part, and there was never going to be enough time.

The industry heard that observation and pointed everything at the public internet. The private corpus, the documents that actually run a business, stayed where it was. Filed and unread.
DocuStrata is built on a simple bet. If machine attention is nearly free, the right thing to do with an archive is read all of it, once and properly. After that a question takes seconds. The answer arrives with the source documents attached, because an answer you can't check is a guess wearing a suit.
Reading an archive this way is a serious undertaking, so we take a limited number of archives each month and we publish our limits. Patience is part of the product.
